Xier/Xies/Dier

Grammar tables and Powerpoints

There are many options for non-binary pronouns in German, but as of yet there is no "official" suggestion for which to use. The most commonly used and widely researched gender neutral pronoun set in German is Xier/Xies/Dier.

Extensive research on non-binary pronouns in German is also being done by Illi Anna Heger, who publishes their updated findings on their website.
